Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how ClutchReframe (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information through the ClutchReframe Live Dota 2 website, the Windows companion application, the OBS plugin, and the services used to operate the closed beta (together, the “Service”).
This policy applies to the invite-only Dota 2 beta. Other ClutchReframe products or websites may publish separate policies.
2. Website Data
This website is a static site. It does not use analytics scripts, advertising technology, tracking pixels, cookies, hosted forms, or third-party video embeds.
Like most web hosting services, the hosting provider may process routine request data such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. We do not receive a visitor-level analytics dashboard from this website.
The “Request Beta Access” button opens a static page with links to Gmail and your device’s default email application. The website does not submit a form or collect the application itself. If you send an email, we receive the address, content, and any other information you choose to provide. Your email provider and our email provider process that message under their own terms and policies.
3. Gameplay and Video Data
ClutchReframe Live visually analyzes the selected Dota 2 display on the user’s Windows PC to calculate framing instructions for the OBS output.
- Gameplay frames are processed locally by the app.
- The app does not upload gameplay frames or video to ClutchReframe’s online services.
- The app does not use gameplay frames to train a cloud model.
- The user may separately record or stream the resulting output through OBS or another platform; that processing is controlled by the user and the selected platform.
4. Information Stored on the Device
The Windows companion may store the following information locally:
- Application, output, display, and OBS configuration preferences
- Operational logs and readiness or error information
- Account identifiers, access-expiration information, and a local device identifier
- Access and refresh tokens protected using Windows Data Protection API mechanisms
A diagnostic export is created only when the user chooses to export it. The user decides whether to share that file with ClutchReframe support. Diagnostic material may contain app settings, operational state, logs, system or device details, and other information visible in the export.
5. Information Sent to Online Services
The closed beta uses online services for account authentication, device authorization, beta access, entitlement checks, and session coordination. Depending on the action, the Service may process:
- Email address, account identifier, authentication tokens, and authentication events
- App version and a Windows device label, which may include the computer name
- Pseudonymous hashed install and device identifiers derived from Windows device information
- Device registration, status, authorization, and last-seen timestamps
- Beta entitlement, trial, or subscription-status records, even when no payment is collected during the closed beta
- Live-session start, heartbeat, lease, end, and related timestamps
- Security, abuse-prevention, and service-error information
Gameplay frames and video are not included in these online requests.
6. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Review beta applications and communicate with applicants
- Create, authenticate, and support invited beta accounts
- Authorize a device and confirm access to beta features
- Coordinate active sessions and protect against account or installer abuse
- Diagnose failures, provide support, and improve reliability
- Comply with legal obligations and protect users, ClutchReframe, and third parties
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising.
7. Service Providers and Disclosure
We use Supabase to provide authentication, database, and related backend functions for the beta. We may also use hosting and email providers to operate the website and respond to applications. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms.
We may disclose information when required by law; to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, ClutchReframe, or others; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets; or with the user’s direction or consent.
8. Retention
We retain application emails, account records, device-authorization records, entitlement information, and session metadata for as long as reasonably needed to run and secure the beta, provide support, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention periods can vary by data category and operational need.
Local settings and logs remain on the user’s device until the app, the relevant files, or the Windows user profile is removed. Uninstall behavior may vary by installer version and Windows configuration.
9. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including protected local token storage and authenticated backend access. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Your Choices and Requests
You may choose not to send a beta application. Invited testers may stop using the Service and request account deletion, access, or correction by emailing clutchreframe@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited records when required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
11. International Processing
ClutchReframe and its service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. Those locations may have different data-protection laws.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the beta or Service changes. We will publish the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated to active testers.
14. Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to clutchreframe@gmail.com.
